You can also enable presentation mode by pressing Command/ALT + Shift + P

Create presentation steps with frames

Before presenting, you can optionally create frames to group related topics together. Frames act as slides in your presentation and help you present ideas at the right level of detail.

If your map has frames, presentation mode will move through those frames in order. If your map has no frames, presentation mode will work as before and move through topics one by one.

To create slides:

  1. Select the option Create Presentation in presentation mode.
  2. Draw a frame around one or more topics on the Mindmap.
  3. Repeat this to create additional slides.
  4. Reorder slides to control the sequence of your presentation.
  5. Delete slides you no longer need.

Slides are saved with your mind map and are visible to all collaborators.

Slides are used only for presenting your map and do not change your map structure or layout.

Navigate Your Presentation

You can navigate through your presentation using the arrow keys or mouse.

  • If your map includes slides, use the arrow keys to move forward and back through your slides in order.
  • If your map has no slides, use the arrow keys to move between topics in order.
  • Press the escape key to exit presentation mode.
Skipping topics

Be sure to collapse any topics you'd like to skip during your presentation when you are not using specific slides.

Ordering Your Presentation

If you are using specific slides, your presentation follows the order of your slides. If you are not using slides, presentations start with the topics on the right side of your map (highest to lowest). The left side comes after. Be sure to arrange your topics accordingly.
