Export / Print Maps (Mobile Apps)

On iOS (iPhone):

How to Export Your Mind Map:

1. Open the mind map you want to export and tap on the print/export button in the upper right corner of your screen. 

2. Select Export from the menu.

3. Choose the export format.
MindMeister offers the following common file formats: PDF, RTF, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and PNG
You can also export to the following mind map formats: MindMeister, Freemind, MindManager, XMind

4. Once you've clicked on the format of your choice, your map export will be generated, and within a few seconds, you will be presented with a new dialog where you can choose what to do with the generated file, such as sharing it via AirDrop or sending it as an email attachment to a recipient of your choice.

How to Print Your Mind Map:

1. Open the mind map you want to print and tap on the print/export button in the upper right corner of your screen. 

2. Select Print from the menu.

3. Select an AirPrint Printer and choose the number of copies you want to print out, then tap on Print.

On Android: 

How to Export Your Mind Map:

1. Open the mind map you want to export and tap on the print/export button in the upper right corner of your screen. 

2. Select Export Map from the menu.

3. Choose the export format.
MindMeister offers the following common file formats: PDF, RTF, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and PNG
You can also export to the following mind map formats: MindMeister, Freemind, MindManager, XMind
If your mind map includes presentation slides, you can also export those as slides in a Presentation ZIP

4. Once you've clicked on the format of your choice, your map export will be generated, and within a few seconds, the exported file will appear in your device's Downloads folder.

How to Print Your Mind Maps:

There is currently no direct print option available in MindMeister for Android. The best way to print your mind map is by exporting it as a PDF or PNG and sending the exported file to a device connected to a printer, for instance via email.
