You can import the following file types into MindMeister:
- MindMeister (.mind)
- Plain Text (see also: RTF Import)
Note: XMind exports are done in a zip file, please make sure you unzip the files before you import them in MindMeister.
The imported files will be automatically turned into mind maps and will appear in your map list a few moments after import.
There are two ways to import files:
Drag & DropSimply drop files from your local hard drive onto your dashboard. You can drop multiple files at a time.
Browse FilesIn your MindMeister dashboard, click Import:
Then click on "Browse Files" and select one or multiple files from your hard drive. Confirm your selection by clicking "Open".
