MindMeister offers a wide variety of export options, enabling you to turn maps into Word documents, save them as PDFs, as images and more. Please note that not all export options are available for all plans.
You can export mind maps from your dashboard as well as from within the map editor.
Export Mind Maps From the Dashboard
Click on the ellipsis in the top-right corner of a mind map thumbnail, then select "Export" from the dropdown menu.
In the dialog that opens, select the export format of your choice, then confirm by clicking on "Export":

To access the export dialog while you're in the map editor, click on the export icon in the bottom-right corner of the editor.
Here's a more detailed overview of all export formats supported by MindMeister:
- Microsoft Word
Transfer your thoughts to a formatted outline with using Microsoft Word. You can select various layout and content options.
- Microsoft PowerPoint
Present your mind maps using Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Portable Document Format (PDF)
A graphic representation of you mind map(s) including all colors and icons in PDF format. You can choose paper size and format.
- Document Outline
A text outline of the mind map that can be opened in applications such as Microsoft Word or WordPad.
- Image File
A graphic representation of the mind map including all colors and icons to reuse in documents or for archiving. You can choose between GIF, PNG or JPG format.
- MindMeister format
A xml-based format to backup your mind maps.
