  • Press SHIFT to select a range of topics with the same parent
  • Press Ctrl to select multiple single topics

Please note: Cut does not work between MindMeister Maps.

MindMeister Map Types

There are several layout templates for you to choose from when starting on your first/new MindMeister Map.

To switch between or choose another layout/s, first, click on MindMeister Map properties, and then change the alignment as indicated in the screenshot below.

Did you know that you can connect your ideas? This helps to highlight important aspects of your MindMeister Map, show the relationship between two topics or simply to optimize your MindMeister Map to match your personal way of thinking and working.

To add connections between ideas click the Connect icon located in the top toolbar (to the right of the big plus sign). Another way to add a connection is to press ALT+C after selecting the source idea of your connection.

You can access additional options or remove your connections by clicking on the circle at the end of your connection.

Adjust the angle of your connection, add a label or change the color of your connections by using the connection drop-down menu.
