How to clear cache and cookies

Old cache and cookies can cause loading errors or outdated content to display. Clearing them often resolves strange or inconsistent behavior.

 

Google Chrome

  1. Click the three-dot menu in the top right corner.
  2. Go to Settings > Privacy and security > Clear browsing data.
  3. Choose the Time range (select All time for a full reset).
  4. Check the boxes for Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.
  5. Click Clear data.


Safari (macOS)

  1. Click Safari in the top menu bar and select Preferences.
  2. Go to the Privacy tab.
  3. Click Manage Website Data, then select Remove All.
  4. Confirm by clicking Remove Now.

 

To clear the cache only:

  1. Click Safari > Preferences > Advanced.
  2. Enable Show Develop menu in menu bar.
  3. In the top menu, click Develop and choose Empty Caches.

 

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Click the three-bar menu in the top right corner.
  2. Select Settings > Privacy & Security.
  3. Under Cookies and Site Data, click Clear Data.
  4. Check both boxes and click Clear.

 

Microsoft Edge

  1. Click the three-dot menu in the top right corner.
  2. Select Settings > Privacy, search, and services.
  3. Under Clear browsing data, click Choose what to clear.
  4. Select All time from the Time range dropdown.
  5. Check Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.
  6. Click Clear now.

 

Tip

After clearing cache and cookies, restart your browser and log in again to see if the issue is resolved.
