How to use a different browser

Sometimes, issues with MindMeister or MeisterTask can be caused by your browser. Trying a different browser helps you check if the problem is browser-related.

Steps to switch browsers

  1. Download and install one of the recommended browsers (e.g. Google Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox) if you don’t already have it.
  2. Open the same page or platform link in the new browser (e.g. Google Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox). If you already have other browsers installed, you can find and open them like this


    Windows

    • Click the Start menu (Windows logo in the bottom-left corner).
    • Type the name of the browser (e.g., “Chrome,” “Safari,” or “Edge”).
    • Click on the browser name in the search results to open it.

    macOS

    • Open Finder or click the Launchpad icon (rocket symbol in the Dock).
    • Look for the browser name (like “Chrome,” “Safari,” or “Edge”)
    • Click the icon to open the browser.
  3. Log in and check if the issue still occurs.

If the issue does not occur in another browser, it likely means the problem is specific to your original browser. In this case, clearing your cache, might help.
