Which MindMeister features use AI?

Currently, AI technology in MindMeister is used for the following features:

Generate with AI: Generates a new mind map from:
- Text prompts
- Uploaded files (such as PDFs, documents, or images)
- A combination of prompts and files
Edit with AI: Suggests edits to an existing mind map, such as grouping related topics, tidying up the map, or balancing the layout.

Both features analyze your input and generate structured suggestions based on the provided information.

How is my data processed by Meister AI?

When you use Generate with AI, the system processes the prompt or file content you provide in order to generate a mind map.

When you use Edit with AI, the system processes the content of the selected topic and its branch to generate suggested edits. For map-level actions—such as Group related topics, Tidy up map, and Balance layout—the entire map's content is processed instead.

In both cases, this information is processed only for the purpose of generating the requested output and is not used to train external AI models.

Content generated by Meister AI is based solely on the information you provide and the AI model's capabilities.

What machine learning models does Meister AI use?

Meister AI uses machine learning models provided by trusted partners, including OpenAI.

Information processed by Meister AI is not used by these providers to train or improve their models.

Is Meister AI GDPR compliant?

Yes. Meister AI is designed to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
