Grant Support Access

This feature grants the Meister Customer Success team access to your account (individual users) or your team’s accounts (team admins)

  • You must give the Meister Customer Success team permission to access your account from the My Account area. You can choose a time limit for access or revoke access at any time.
  • Once the Customer Success team has support access, they will be able to view and resolve reported issues directly from your account.

Team admins and individual users who are not in teams can access this feature.

 

Why Grant Support Access?

Certain issues, such as new or unique bugs, require a closer look from our Customer Success Team. By using your account “as you,” our team can identify and solve problems faster.

 

Important

Support access is granted in accordance with statutory data privacy regulations. This ensures that any information or files in your account remain confidential and are not sent to third parties. No one at Meister may log in to your account or your team’s accounts without this explicit permission and may only do so for the duration of the access you select.

Only grant support access if a Meister Customer Success agent asks you to do so.

 

Grant or Revoke Support Access

You can grant support access for your own account (if you are an individual user), or your team’s accounts (if you are a team admin).

 

Tip

If you are a team admin, granting support access will allow the Meister Customer Success team to access any account in your team. You do not need to set permissions for each user account separately.

Grant support access

  1. Click on your user avatar in the top right of the screen, then click My Account.

  2. In the Me section, toggle to the Policies tab and scroll to Support Access.

  3. Check the box next to Allow support to access accounts and data for...
  4. Select how long you would like to grant support access for (one week, one month or one year).

Revoke support access

  1. Click on your user avatar in the top right of the screen, then click My Account.

  2. In the Me section, toggle to the Policies tab and scroll to Support Access.

  3. Uncheck the box to revoke access permissions.
