Who can use this feature?
- All users with editing permissions on a Personal, Pro or Business plan
- Users on the free Basic plan cannot export mind maps
- Users with view-only permissions cannot export mind maps
MindMeister allows you to export your mind maps into several sharable file formats, including PDFs, image files, word documents, powerpoint presentations and more.
Exporting requires a paid plan
Since June 30, 2026, users on the free Basic plan can no longer export mind maps in any format. In the map editor, Export and Print appear grayed out in the cloud icon menu, and selecting either one opens an upgrade prompt instead of the export dialog.
To export your mind maps, upgrade to a Personal, Pro or Business plan.
Export Options in MindMeister
