Move around your mind map (pan)
Using a mouse
- Click and drag anywhere on the canvas to move around the map
Using a trackpad
- Scroll with two fingers to move around the map
Using the keyboard
- Use the arrow keys to navigate between elements
Zoom in and out
Using a mouse
- Hold Ctrl (Windows) or ⌘ (Mac) and scroll with your mouse wheel
- Or click the + and - icons in the bottom-right corner of the editor
Using a trackpad
- Pinch in or out to zoom
Using the keyboard
- Press + or - to zoom in or out
- Press 0 to reset the zoom level
- Press ⌘ + SHIFT + H (Mac) or Ctrl + SHIFT + H (Windows) to zoom to fit the entire mind map
Recenter your mind map
Using a mouse
- Click the Center map icon in the bottom-left corner of the editor
Using the keyboard
- Press F6
Find elements in your mind map
Using the keyboard
- Press ⌘ + F (Mac) or Ctrl + F (Windows) to search for an element
Show or hide sub-elements
You can define how many levels of sub-elements are visible in your mind map. This helps you focus on specific areas without changing or deleting any content.
Use the depth control
- Use the depth control in the bottom-left corner of the editor.
- Move the slider or select a value (e.g. 1, 2, 3) to define how many levels of sub-elements are visible.
The available levels depend on the structure of your mind map and the number of sub-elements used.
