Publish or Embed a Mind Map

This feature is available to all users.


Publish your mind map to make it publicly accessible on the internet via a unique URL. Your published map will be indexed by search engines and automatically added to our public maps universe.

Published mind maps can also be embedded on a website or blog. Read on to learn more!


Publish Your Mind Map

To publish your mind map, simply:

 

  1. Open your mind map. 
  2. Click the (i) button in the top-left corner of the map editor. 
  3. Click the ellipsis (...) next to your map's name.
  4. Select Publish from the drop-down menu.

  5. Click Continue to confirm.
  6. Give your map a name, category and description to make it more searchable.
  7. Choose whether to allow other users to edit your map or copy your map.
  8. Click Publish map. Your map is now publicly available on the internet and is indexed in our public map library.

Embed Your Mind Map

Once you've published your mind map, you can embed it easily on any website that supports embedded media. To embed a mind map:

 

  1. Open your mind map. 
  2. Click the (i) button in the top-left corner of the map editor. 
  3. Click the ellipsis (...) next to your map's name.
  4. Select Publishing settings from the drop-down menu.

  5. Click Continue
  6. Click Sharing & embedding options.
  7. In the next window, select the dimensions, zoom level and sharing options for your embedded mind map.
  8. Copy the Embed Code and click Done.
  9. Paste the code onto your blog, social media profile, or any other website that supports embedded media.

Unpublish Your Mind Map

Unpublishing your mind map will immediately revoke anonymous users' access to your mind map. To unpublish your mind map:

 

  1. Open your mind map. 
  2. Click the (i) button in the top-left corner of the map editor. 
  3. Click the ellipsis (...) next to your map's name.
  4. Select Manage members from the drop-down menu.
  5. Hover over Anyone on the web and click the x that appears.
