These changes apply to all users.
To ensure consistent terminology and eliminate confusion, role names in Mind Maps are being updated. The same permission level will now have the same role name across Mind Maps, Projects and Notes.
What is Changing?
We are updating the names of certain user roles. Here is a summary of the changes:

Starting in December 2024, the new role names will replace the old ones. In the Sharing window, the role name shown next to each user will display the updated names.
This update is solely a name change. There are no changes to permissions or existing sharing settings.
No action is required on your part. Please note that opting out or reverting to the previous naming system is not possible.
Why Are These Changes Being Made?
Previously, role names differed across Projects, Notes, and Mind Maps, creating inconsistencies and confusion. Aligning these role names makes it easier to understand user permissions.
